Interesting that there was no mention of Paleo-Indians' role in the extinction of the American Ice Age megafauna. Too much to touch on just too far outside your wheelhouse?

2025-02-06 22:55:04 +0000 UTCI keep imagining niche video topics that few creators would give the care and nuance they deserve, and somehow you keep making them. I recently traveled to a few countries in polynesia/micronesia and was taken aback at the untold conflicts between the first human settlers of the islands and their native flora/fauna, many of which went extinct due to hunting/deforestation long before the Europeans had the chance to document/eradicate them (which, to be clear, they probably would have). I feel like these blindspots originate from the same places as the stereotypes around Native Americans, whether well-meaning or malicious.
