OMG!! I think you are right my friend.. It could very well be that indeed the two souls together may be blocking each other from the Magic as well.. I had not thought of that!! Hmm, now you have me pondering new possibilities!! LOL!! and that is exactly why I Love these shows, they leave us with clues and guesses until they decide to reveal more.. Love it.. Oh, and btw.. I am truly done with Hollyweird now.. we saw yesterday on the news that they have greenlit a new Little House On The Prairie and A New Die Hard!! I was like NO!! so done with their foolishness!!

You ask and ponder how powerful Natzu would be if she got her powers back, combined with being inside Bu-yeon's body. But I think your missing the bigger question. Its been hiding in plain sight, but can be hard to get because we have lots of things going on to distract us. The question should be....why can't Natzu perform her magic now? I understand why she cant fight and do physical stunts like she used to because Mudeok's body is weak....but she still should be able to perform magic because Bu-yeon was a powerful mage. Bu-yeon had rare talents that other mages didn't have....so she would be in the 1% of powerful mages. And we know Natzu was a powerful mage, so she she SHOULD be able to perform magic. In the other cases we saw so far, when a soul shifter shifts souls with someone, he or she is able to perform their magic. The answer probably has to do with the fact that the soul shift Natzu did with Bu-yeon was NOT a normal soul shift...compared to the other soul shifts we have seen and know about. Lets see what we already know about the alchemy of souls spell and soul shifting.. First off we know that a soul shifter will target a human and perform the spell and the soul shifters soul then goes inside the target's body and takes control of it, and the target's soul shifts inside the soul shifters old body. ( which is bad news for the target as they die right away as the old soul shifters body dies in most cases-thus sending the targets soul to the afterlife) We saw this play out in the beginning of the first episode with Uk's dad and the King. Another thing is we know is that when a soul shifter enters the target's body it leaves a blue mark on the shoulder of the target. We also know that after a soul shifter shifts souls, they have a time clock....they have to absorb human life force in order to prevent getting petrified and going wild. Now lets look at Mudeok's case and why its different from the normal soul shifting. First off after Natzu shifted, it didn't leave a blue mark on the shoulder...the blue mark was in Mudoek's eyes. Secondly going by what we know of the alchemy of souls spell.....Bu-yeon's soul SHOULD have shifted inside Natzu's old body. We know Natzu's body was destroyed when Jin Mu decided to burn it in a hurry. So Bu-yeon's soul should have departed from the earth after the death of Natzu's old body....but we see her soul hanging around. And as I mentioned earler, Natzu cannot perform magic...which is different from every other case we seen from soul shifters. And lastly...Mudeok is not going wild, not petrifiying yet. That is for sure not normal. So the questions is why? Is it possible that Bu-yeon's soul never left her body while Natzu took control of it? It would explain why we still see her soul here and there. It may explain why Natzu cannot perform her magic. It may explain why Mudeok has not gone wild yet and started to petrify. One strong case for this (and a big hint I think) is the scene where the assassin soul shifter tried to attack Uk and shift his soul inside Uk. We saw Bu-yeon's spirit "guide" Uk back to his body, thus forcing the assassin to go back to his origional body where he started to go wild and petrify. Mudok was holding Uk the whole time the battle of souls was happening inside him, so Bu-yeon would have been in close proximity to be able to help Uk. Then when Uk came to, Mudeok (Natzu) did not know what happened inside Uk....as at first she thought he was the assassin. So that proves that Natzu is not aware of Bu-yeon's soul or presence. That leads to a lot of questions too. But for now, if Bu-yeon's soul is inside Mudeok's body too, then is there going to be a battle of souls for Mudeok's body? Did Bu-yeon "let" Natzu take control of her body..if so why? Now this all ties back to my initial response to your question on how powerful Natzu could be when combined with Bu-yeon's body......I think the bigger quesion is what happened to Bu-yeon that made her become "Mudeok" . We know there was an accident that supposedly killed her......but the evidence kind of points to that whole situation being fishy. Now we know Jin Mu and the evil queen want access to the Jin family's magical warehouse. We know Jin Mu talked about using a fake to pretend to be Bu-yeon in order to get his plan going. We saw the thief girl So-i (that actress is also in Business Proposal...the crazy cousin) get kidnapped by Jin Mu towards the end...so is she going to be forced to be the fake Bu-yeon? And lastly, did Jin Mu have anything to do with Bu-yeon dissappearing? It was already revealed that he used Bu-yeon's powers to find the ice stone in the lake.....was Jin Mu covering his tracks by making Bu-yeon dissappear? He could have used the cover story of the accident as an excuse for her being gone. Because he knew that after he used her to get the ice stone...there could not be witnesses. Is it possible he wiped Bu-yeon's memory and sent her away to live as a beggar? Since Bu-yeon had her memory wiped....is it possible she got it back when Natzu performed the alchemy of souls on her? Is it possible Bu-yeon's soul is purposely allowing Natzu to control her body....until she gets all of her memories back or for some other reason? Also, if Natzu did get her powers...would she run wild...or is her not being able to do magic preventing that? I think those are the bigger questions at this point. I know I rambled alot but its fun to talk about lol
