WOW!1 what an emotional and physical undertaking.. Incredible that she was able to go at all!!

LK Robinson

There was some emotional and physical trauma associated with this tour. On the emotional side - her older brother Jean-Loup was struck and killed by a car while she was on tour. She dedicated her Mylenium tour to him. On the physical side - the platform that she stood on for "XXL" gave way while she and one of the dancers went out on it after the last show in Lyon officially ended. She fell several meters to the arena floor and got rushed to the hospital with a concussion and broken wrist. The stage crew had started to dismantle the structure while everyone was taking bows onstage, and it was unable to support the weight. The tour got put on pause for a few months. The subsequent dates got rescheduled and new ones added. Some irony - the last song before the encores was prophetic: "Tombe sept fois" Et si tu tombes sept fois / And if you fall seven times Toujours se relever huit / Always get back up eight And self-deprecating humor - the single released a few weeks into her recovery was one of the songs performed during the show: "Comme j'ai mal" (I Hurt So Much)
