i was so looking forward to my day off so I could take the time and watch your commentary! I'm so happy you enjoyed this; it's my personal favourite. I agree there are probably better ones, but I grew up with a lot of fairy tales and just the original stories these early Barbie movies are based on and they'll always hold a special place in my heart. swan lake and nutcracker as well,,, basically all the ones with ballet elements in them. I totally see why you would think the scenes where they're just dancing are boring, but I personally really love them. They might not further the plot all the time, but they do a great job at selling the fantasy
