Time to send stuff out and celebrate!

Hey guys! First of all welcome to everyone new here and a hearty thanks to everyone! I actually just got done writing one of my infamous long form updates for Patreon but seeing so many new here and seeing us so close to the next celebration milestone I opted to save that one for later and give you guys a quick update here of what's coming up.

Channel wise, I recorded my Hybris: Disordered Cosmos unboxing yesterday. I actually have a b-roll alternate camera angle this time as I finally went ahead and got a second small tripod mount for my phone thanks to you guys so hopefully that turns out great! I won't just be a pair of hands anymore :D

After that is a long overdue news/KS update. I have some fun stuff to share from that both in pretty renders you might not have seen and some stuff in August to keep an eye out for.

Obviously a Hybris review and I still want to do a Batman Versus review as I find many still think it's a skirmish variant.

Now for Patreon: All I can say is I'm continued to be blown away and completely humbled. Incidentally, the long form post I wrote is about this subject as well but you guys are truly part of something that I feel can really help shake up this industry for the better. When content is made for people like you and me, and not for these companies, once we're actually in control I believe nothing but good can come from it. And to all the naysayers who say it's not possible, well I guess we can all agree that we think differently :) You guys provide me so much freedom to truly speak my mind without any conflict and I'm so thankful for that.

Lastly, about that milestone and sending stuff out. As you might know or have guessed, I don't send stuff out every month, instead I go in bursts. Last time I believe I sent out miniatures to 6 people and I already have more than that lined up to send out soon. I actually have it planned to spend the time to package it all up and send another big batch out later this month on my next 3 day weekend and I'm so excited for you guys to start getting stuff to celebrate.

Which brings me finally to the milestone itself. I'll be sending a few games out soon but I'm wondering. Would you like me to just send some out and have it be a surprise or would you rather it be something that's picked? Means the last person get's no choice though :) Either way, a future update here will list what I plan to send out!

Have a great day everyone, I'll be back with another post here later this week :)

Who doesn't like surprises right? :D I already snuck in a B-Roll camera angle in tomorrows unboxing :) Let me know what you think!

Haha that's a great story and you bring up a good point :D I'll try to put a little something nice in each one regardless :)

I agree, surprises are cool. Also as you mentioned, no bitter feelings if one happens to get "the last pick". I think most people are okay getting a "non desirable" gift when they know the giver is genuine in their sentiment. I remember it took me two years before I had the heart to tell my mother the pants she'd been giving me each Christmas were too small lol. I just gave them away or donated them, with the tags still on.

The surprise option is nice. If you receive something you already have you can always give it away to a friend or a family member. BTW I am looking forward to the reviews with the alternate angle :)
