Hey guys! I hope you are all doing fantastic! As you might have noticed, I've been doing a lot more reviews lately! I hope to continue that trend and really stay on top of it all :) Still planned is Starcadia Quest, Batman Versus mode and then ideally a host of older ones I never did like Tainted Grail, Deep Madness, Death May Die, Mythic Battles Pantheon, Conan, etc.
** PATREON INFO + VOTE + DISCOUNT **
I also want to start doing even more here for you guys! After all you guys are a bunch of rockstars that deserve all I can give! Part of that will be upping my interactions beyond Discord. If you haven't checked out my Discord, I think you'd be surprised how much of a good time we all have on there, we'd love to have ya pop in and say hi!
With that in mind, I'd love to hear what game you're most excited about, but with the twist that it has to be picked from one of the games I've previewed. Vote in the poll below! I have all of these preview copies of the games and can totally do more with them so would love to hear from you about this!
Also, be sure to keep an eye out for the next vote which will be (most likely) deciding which Tainted Grail miniature I'll paint next :D If you haven't voted for what game you'd like a painting video from be sure to check out my previous vote here on Patreon!
Speaking of doing more for you guys, I've decided to get more into the "merch" side of things. As such I want to ensure you guys get a nice discount so here's an exclusive 10% discount you can use at my Teespring store: PFKSG39I5B
Please do not share that code outside of Patreon, it's really meant for all of you <3 Here's a link to the store: https://teespring.com/stores/king-of-average. I already have my next shirt planned out and it should be available soon!
** COMING UP **
Okay so what's next for me? Well I'm actually going on a small vacation Monday - Wednesday of next week. It's our 10th wedding anniversary and we've been cooped up with the kids for too long so I rented a cabin up in the mountains to just kind of decompress :) We plan on bringing board games and our painting supplies because we're cool like that :D
So what'll be going on the channel? Well Tuesday will be my Gluttony painting video and then after that will be an awesome Sankokushin: Five Sacrifices gameplay overview video I hope you all enjoy :)
Next purchase for the channel? Besides some pledge managers I need to fill out I'll be upgrading my lighting as I found what I hope to be a pretty good deal on some better soft lighting so no more harsh reflections and better lighting all around :) That's definitely the easiest/cheapest improvement.
Next after that is a second tripod to be used for vlog/talking points and in the future b-roll for reviews and unboxings. That's because after that is probably a new camera. A more "real" camera primarily for video recording, not picture taking. This will allow for better shots and allow me to "flip" my unboxings around so you see me opening the box, and then an overhead shot closer to what is normally seen as needed.
** WHAT I'VE BEEN UP TO **
I've also been continuing to paint!

These guys have taken quite some time but I've enjoyed them. On the home stretch that will really help them pop!
Lastly, my new desk came for the office so now everything is finished being re-arranged. The behind the scenes video for you guys should be ready fairly soon, but I want to make sure it's really, really done. That means another 2x2 cube shelf and some shadow boxes to order. But after that I'll put it all together for you guys.
That's it for this update but I'll have another one for you guys MUCH sooner, probably late next week actually :D Thank you all for being such rockstars, I'm in awe of how awesome you all truly are. Have a great weekend!

2020-05-18 13:00:32 +0000 UTCThank you very much Michal! I've honestly not looked into Hel's solo gameplay, but Sheol did solo well and 2 player fine. They have a specific solo mode but even if not used, it's very easy to control multiple heroes in 2 player (my main gaming party) works easily. It also scales based on player count, having less spawn points for solo and 2 player.

2020-05-16 10:14:16 +0000 UTCAs only one I've backed from the list for now is Wolfenstein I'd be glad to see a bit more of it :) And question for today: HEL or SHEOL for solo/2 players mode? I'm hesitating between those two. And last of, happy anniversary :) 10 years is a decent period :D
2020-05-16 08:53:11 +0000 UTCYou're listing my top three as the first three.
