Brutal Murder, Stupid Murderer - Garfield, New Jersey

He denies it, but police don't quite belive him, especially when he tells a detective "no body, no crime". But they do find a body, and the murder was brutal, not to mention the disposal. When the accused decides to act as his own attorney, things really get crazy!!
Along the way, we find out that some towns just don't have a lot of fun happening, that after you kill someone, you shouldn't tell everyone you know, and that representing yourself in court is NEVER a good idea!!

Try searching by Small Town Murder and state in one of the main podcast streaming apps to narrow it down. On a related note, I've been trying to remember which one is abt possibly a male teacher who murders a woman in his house in winter and I feel like it's w knives. Like, she was maybe walking on the street and ended up in his house.
