Update for April 2022

First off, I wanted to thank all of you for your patience. I've been kind of going through it between work, job hunting, and some personal stuff, which has left me less time and (more importantly) less energy to work on writing. I'm a little bit out of sorts and taking some time to reset and figure out what I want to write, rather than what I feel obligated to write. It's possible I'll work on something this weekend, but whether that happens or not I'll be pausing subscription fees for this month.

I have a bunch of projects in the pipeline right now, but none ready to publish. A quick overview:

- A Virtual Temptress is in its final story arc, though it'll be several chapters before it concludes. I know what I want to happen and have it roughly mapped out, but don't have any writing for upcoming chapters completed. I also have a pretty sweet idea for a sequel, but I'm not in a rush to get to that.

- Short stories are in progress. I have several pretty exciting ones mapped out and storyboarded/partially written. These include the second half of The Familiar, a heroic jailbreak (gone wrong, of course) inspired by Succubus Senki, sequel chapters for Study in Purple and Internal Affair, plus a few other ideas that may or may not come to fruition.

- I've started tinkering with Twine to write a Choose Your Own Adventure game. It's been really fun so far and I'm learning a lot, especially given that this is my first foray into any kind of programming. The story is (tentatively) about an adventurer investigating a town with strange goings-on in the woods and some suspiciously attractive citizens. I'm not super far into writing it, and I'm more interested in learning how to make this work the way I want than getting something out quickly. I might make something else that's more brief just to tinker around with that kind of narrative. Basically I would really like to write some BAD END scenes.

I appreciate all of your support, moral and otherwise! Thank you all for the kind words and feedback you always provide for my writing.
