RESCUE HOUND (Complete)

Hi! Apologies for the couple weeks of radio silence - as I hope you'll see, I've been hard at work. My primary project for the past month or so has been to reread and reedit all of WARHOUND (which at this point, in total, runs to about 140,000 words) in preparation for a properly presented e-book (and, I hope, physical book) release. That last part is still a short ways off, but since I'm now finished with editing the text itself, I thought that I would provide a compiled version of RESCUE HOUND for all those who might find that convenient

Most of the editing here is simple nuts-and-bolts stuff - fixing typos, addressing grammatical errors, chasing down pesky uncapitalized Handler pronouns. In many places, I've also streamlined and condensed the prose in order to bring it to my highest possible standard, and additionally, there are a few blink-and-you'll-miss-them changes for the purposes of clarity, continuity, and evenness of tone. My hope is, it's nothing that anyone would even notice unless they were reading old and new versions page by page and side by side. The one possible exception to this is that I have elected to trim down on one or two of the more explicit scenes between Sartha and Kione. They're certainly still there, but they're a little more abstracted and a little less blow-by-blow (thrust-by-thrust?) than before, in places. I feel that, in context, this is a much better choice for the story, and I hope all of you agree. Just wanted to flag that up

Also, as you'll see: there's an .epub version! This has been requested of me several times, and is frankly long overdue. My intention is that, going forward, every time I put out a new chapter or story, there'll be an .epub version to go along with the .pdf and .txt releases. However, I don't use .epub devices myself, and so while the version attached looks perfectly fine to me, it seems entirely possible that I've messed something up. If anybody who reads in .epub has any issues or suggestions, please do let me know and I'll try to address them

Finally, a request: if, over the next couple of weeks, you read this new, compiled version of RESCUE HOUND and come across anything that appears to be a mistake (in whatever form), please tell me!! I'm fast approaching the scary point at which any errors are going to be set in stone (paper) and I'm extremely keen catch as many as possible before it's too late
