I really do love fantasy and corruption, so this was such a treat for me. I ended up writing this from the princess's perspective (rather than the knight's, as the prompt might imply), because I really felt like there was a juicy sense of horror and tension to seeing your rescuer becoming just like the monster they rescued you from. As it hopefully shows, I had a lot of fun with the slightly florid prose style of this story - and with depicting the tragic relationship between Princess Rhianwen and her knight

This is absolutely perfect told from the side of the princess. I know this is supposed to be a bad end but. damn. I yearn to feel the sheer glee of fulfillment from such simple purpose
