The Alliance starship Inyx, with its hard-headed captain Yvonne Vasser, is on a mission to the rim of Alliance space to capture Wasp, a criminal hacker with a penchant for anarchy. But before they can catch her, she finds one single security flaw in the ship's computer systems and gains access to the holodeck. At first, it seems useless - but when she realizes that the holodeck's databanks reveal the entire crew's fantasies, desires and weaknesses, she's able to turn that one, tiny vulnerability into far more human (and exploitable) kind of security flaw...
