New Year!

Wow, it's 2020 now! I figured a bit more than my usual monthly update post was in order. First and foremost, I need to thank you all. 2019 has been an amazing year for me and this Patreon. I didn't think I'd get anywhere close to where I am now. My Patreon has grown explosively over the last year, and it's all thanks to you. When I think about so many people being willing to support me and my writing, it's still almost overwhelming. I never get used to it. I'm so glad I get to do this for my job.

I hope you've all enjoyed everything I've put out for you over the least year. Finishing MB/Winter's Curse, a literal novel-length piece of writing, was incredible. Subroutine's come so far and the exciting climax to that is so close to being finished. The Bakery, meanwhile, is just getting started, and I promise there's lots more of that to come. Plus, of course, all the other stories. I think my favorite one-shots are Princess and Wine Mom - they were both so much fun to write and I'm delighted with how positive a reception they've received. In total, over the course of 2019 I put out roughly 250,000 words on here - a quarter of a million. Wow. That's something, huh? Despite a few months were, due to some unfortuante circumstances, content updates were more uneven. I feel really proud of that. Once again, thank you all for helping to make it possible.

So what's in store for 2020? In a nutshell, a whole lot more smut! Notably, of course, the ending to Subroutine. I'm writing that right now, and it's very exciting. Expect 1-2 more chapters, plus likely an epiloge. Beyond that, I'm going to keep writing The Bakery, and as always I have a lot of ideas for stories I'm looking to write beyond that. So, stay tuned!

But beyond that, I also want to talk about some changes I'm thinking about making. I'm always looking for ways to improve things for you all. The $10 tier I introduced recently has proven really popular, which I'm very happy about. I'm considering changing up the pace of things a little bit to include some room for flash fiction based on patron-submitted prompts. The idea would probably be that patrons get to submit prompts as a reward, everyone votes on them, and I write whatever gets voted for. I'd be looking at doing perhaps 3 to 5 of these a month, just as a way to change things up and put out some bonus content, as well as letting all of express what kind of stuff you really want me to write about.

What do you think? Please let me know in a comment. In general, one of my Patreon-focused resolutions for the new year is to get some more feedback from you all. I've noticed most of you seem to prefer keeping quiet on here. Which is totally OK, especially since you're obviously enjoying what I write! But more feedback enables me to do better. I want to know what I'm doing well, what I'm doing not so well, and what you want to see more of. Please, let me know, so I can do the best I can possibly do to reward you for all your support.
