He even says: I am product of all the bad in the world if you had been in my shoes and gone through all the shit that I’ve gone through and seen all the shit that I’ve seen you would probably end up as fucked up as me. But this is coming from a dark place and we know that not everyone is consumed by that darkness within them so he’s not speaking to everybody.

2025-09-12 15:56:38 +0000 UTCI think Eminem’s issue with the criticism of his lyrics is that plenty of other artists, politicians, and public figures say or do far worse, yet he’s the one who keeps getting slammed and “canceled.” It’s as if people treat him like the source of all the world’s problems. His point, as I see it, is that all this bad existed long before he came along. He even acknowledges that he’s no better but his frustration is with those who single him out as the worst.
