Yeah, that's why I would consider Brynn to be in the C to D cup range. Regardless of how much squishage you should expect a character to have under chestplate armor, it seems to me that after so much attention being brought to her bust size, it would make sense for the character design artist to make them look above average in size. And I'm certainly not expecting anime girl mountains (honestly, those are kinda gross and saggy).

According to Bryn in Chapter 140, "it’s usually Valkyrs who have big breasts […] For Valkyries to be more than petite is considered… unnatural and off-putting." So, for the childbearing Valkyrjas, the Valkyries, yes, it sounds exactly like anything larger than b-cups are considered abnormally large (and unattractive). Possibly even b-cups might be considered unattractively large. Also, keep in mind that Bryn deliberately took off her chestplate to show them the size of her bust properly (because armor partially obscures a person's form), and also that foreshortening is a thing. And it was described thus: "It was true that, out of all the girls present during this meeting, she had the biggest breasts, and they were certainly a sight to behold even when hidden by the tight leather, but it wasn’t like she had an abnormally huge bosom, making it unappealing." Basically, she has large breasts, but they're nowhere near grotesquely or comically massive. In other words, she's nowhere near the size of Lara Croft or many "large-breasted" manga characters.

Breat size has never really played in to my preference in women, but after all the talk in the story about how her "large breasts" made her unattractive for her gender kinda breaks my view of the character... I guess it's possible that she's expected to be completely flat and b-cups are considered large for her race, but if that is so it would have been handy for another character to have commented that her breasts were nothing more than average for the women in Ast's realm. That said, she certainly fits what I would think an Angel should look like.
