Bit late at this point, but noticed this is missing an end quote and now it bugs me xD. “Plenty of times, for sure. Whenever you want. I think "marquees" should be "marquess", instead (or, alternatively, "marquis"). It appears in this chapter three times. I haven't noticed it in the past, so I don't know if you need to check older chapters or not. "Marquees" passes spellcheck because it is the plural of "marquee", which is the word for a hotel or theater canopy. I've always hated dealing with that peerage title, because while "marquis" sounds properly male in a French sorta way, "marquess" sounds female to me. Then you have to throw marchioness in to create a female "marquess". I wish the Brits and French coulda gotten together back then and assigned "marquis" to men and "marquess" to women... Woulda made life much simpler for us proper English speakers in the future. Granted, "marchioness" does seem like it makes sense as a female form of "marquis" for the French language. Too bad the Scots/Brits copied it and not "marquis", too.

Great chapter as usual. Still needs a few more AYMs - good power fantasy needs regular AYM putdowns. Thought for sure that governing council mage was going to be one, though he may yet volunteer.

Ast for reluctant king of all the realms! I need it! He hooks up with the princess to seal the deal for the humans. Maybe meets a daughter of the demon king. Seals the deal with Bryn putting him in with her council. He’s got Selene for her and Miria’s realm. Umbra. Yeah I can see it. The true overlord will rule them all remember! Ast will probably hate it but I won’t lol.
