[TWS] Chapter 161 – Tina's Wish ❤❤❤ [HIDDEN]

I think that is not that he has become less emotional. If anything is more a case of the character growing up and becoming more comfortable with who he is. He has a more mature attitude and I think he sees Tina as his mate even before they had sex. As for the graduation, it was a bit over the top but not in a bad way. He went out of his way to get her what she always wanted and made her dream come true with the royal invitation to join the elite corps. The fight was designed to make her look good as he could have easily overpowered her but chose to limit himself in order to make her look good. Just my opinion but I think it was well done.

Oof if ast has to mate with someone on his realm to make them a summons, I take back what I said about making his mom a summon. I wish there was some way he could bring her to meet Oria though

How do i put this... HE"S A FRACKING DRAGON. Arrogance and that Billy Bad Ass attitude should be a given. But he wasn't always a dragon, he didn't have that mindset but as he grows into his gifts It makes sense to me he starts displaying some of those traits plus the the fact he's a young man that was shunned and now suddenly desired and surrounded by more women than he's ever known. His mind, biology, and feelings are being overwhelmed. That's at least 4 aspects of himself that are in conflict. I suspect there will be a reckoning at some point between the old him and new him. This being a story anything is possible and whatever happens is still a story, but comparing it to real world cause and effect situations so far it seems logical IMHO.

Yeah I completely disagree with what you’re seeing. I feel like Ast might even be trying harder to keep his girls happy than he did before. And not “just keep them happy because I sleep with them” happy, but is considerate of each of them all the time at the same time and in their each individual way. One of the MAJOR reasons I love this story so much is because there’s actual story and feeling. It’s not just another “let’s see how many girls the MC can bang this volume” book. Sai you’re doing a phenomenal job man and as long as you keep writing the way you’re writing, I’ll keep throwing money at you to keep you doing it.

Not much I can say here since it's pretty much the other way around I wanted it to be conveyed by exactly everything that happened. I can't change how people perceive things, unfortunately, as much as I would switch and finetune little things in the story. He had to stay somewhat away or else she could potentially figure things out through their bond. Asterios knew Tina would most likely try to turn the whole graduation around to revolve around him but he still did his best for it to stay tame and in staying enough low-key while going through it the way to make her shine as much as possible. I'm sorry you don't feel like there's any emotion there since I intentionally spent more time on the recent chapters to make sure they are portraying those as perfectly as possible, especially this specific one where they finally "get together". This story builds things up slowly, spanning over tens to hundreds chapters wide with each small detail, and the culmination can't possibly wrap everything up at once to show it in one chapter. We do kind of have to have in mind those small things from the past, how their relationship progressed and changed. To me, deep down, Asterios is still the same, no matter how much he progressed. He still cares deeply for those he finds close and as in the very first volume, he would most likely kill to keep them safe. Now, after quite some time, that includes Tina. From around the moment in the third volume regarding her involvement in helping his mom. As always, he still retains the same, slightly calm/cold demanor since it would take much more time for him to change completely. All in all, that's just how I try and want to portray it. To me, what happened fits the characters from the moment they have been designed. Small alterations are possible but pretty much only to fix or enhance those elements.

I can't help but feel like this story has lost something, Ast is no longer the lovable guy he was was. He's become a bit arrogant, if that's the word. I'm not even sure how to explain it, but it doesn't feel like there's any emotion anymore, just a guy fucking a girl who has a crush on him. Yeah he promises they'll be together forever, but it comes off as him just adding another summons to his group. The whole graduation scene felt manipulative too, making her worry he wouldn't turn up, then stealing the spot light from her on her big day. I'm worried its some sort of "dragons don't love" plot line, or just character progression into a bit of a dick. Anyway, not sure this really explains anything so tl:dr don't think I like Ast anymore.
