I feel like some of the students that treated him poorly will variously either try to disappear into the crowd to avoid notice, and over-the-top try to kiss the ass of Asterios, Madam Teireshia, Tina, and possibly even Grea. The members of the council, I can imagine variously backtracking on their denigration of him, *loudly* defending their decision to expel him because he was such a horrible *rule breaker*, accusing him of somehow cheating to match Tina's strength, accusing him of being an impostor, and accusing him of hiding his strength when he was in the academy. They might also try to heap some blame onto Tina, Madam Teireshia or perhaps Grea.
