He’ll already be ‘flashy’ depending on when he gives Tina the good news about her future. I wonder if Welrond will be present to offer her a position in the reserves. Already lots to put in the graduation chapter without any beat downs, though I too kinda like seeing Asterios apply a good beat down!

I'm not sure it's entirely cold-bloodedly 😉 .... as a father it must be awfully tempting to find such a seemingly packaged deal for your royal daughter - one who has come of age, who is an only child with burgeoning power, yet shows little intent to rule. She is obviously showing interest, possibly for the first time, in a boy, and Ast himself appears to be uninterested in using that interest for his own gain. Adding in the complementary powers, the ties to one of the strongest merchant families, possible immensely strong sister wives... - at this point there are only losses if he doesn't find a way

You’re right that they don’t need to work with the guild or dungeon dive much anymore, but they like working with the guild and dungeon diving. And you know the girls, Miria and Selene, want to add Suanari to their roster of sister-mates.

Welrond will say nothing publicly. He has Asterios now and I don’t think he will want to expose him in the process. This is working where Welrond will want Ast in with him. Let’s face it The Scarlet Scale is a WMD now and I am quite sure the King will want him close. And I do believe that the king is cold bloodedly putting Silvia and him together.

I’m sure that Asterios will ‘try’ to not be flashy or antagonistic… but I don’t doubt that some circumstance or another will preclude that.

Seems like next chapter is Tina's graduation which I'm excited for, there's a lot of anticipation around Silvia as well I'm glad if the group grows but I'm in no hurry to see it grow fast I like the deep relationships Ast has with the first two girls and want any additions to have the same. I noticed Ast mentioned his father burnt down the town he was found in but didn't mention the name he know for him or that he's hiding the fact that he's alive, Silvia is right the king will want to know but the question is what will he do with the information doubt there are town criers talking about the evil of dragons

As much as I would like to see some beat-downs , I’m actually rethinking how Asterios should act at the graduation. He should do nothing flashy or antagonistic. He should stay under the radar until he learns all about his bloodline. As far a Silvia becoming his mate. Not yet. She can be brought in as an assistant like Grea, but properly this time so she can go. If later she wants to be a true mate, we’ll, he can fix that then.

I'm sure they'd be S rank given the power levels, but I'm not sure there's much point to them continuing to do any formal business with the guild. They don't lack money and have better things to do than fetch quests or dungeon clears. Though I do hope there's a few more Arrogant Young Master beat-downs back at the academy. That kind of scene may be trope-ish, but tropes exist because people like to read them. ;-) Have to say, though, that I do like the anti-trope vibe of the whole story. Most people are at least reasonable and act like normal people. If this had been a classic Chinese cultivation novel, a quarter of the elders at the academy back in book 1 would have wanted to imprison/study Ast to figure out how he summoned Miria, a second quarter would have tried to simply steal her somehow, a third quarter would have wanted them both dead due to jealousy or feeling threatened (or both), and only the last quarter would have helped them.

There’s no way Ast is going to be able to stay under the radar after telling the king about everything they did and learned on the demon continent. A-rank or even S-rank is very close around the corner for him. It’s also funny seeing Radir try to wingman his daughter lol. Which I believe she won’t need the help ;) . I’m super excited for the graduation and Tina getting to finally have some ‘quality’ time with Ast. Just spitballing, but I’m hoping the princess asks to be bound to Ast and they all get to cross over into Bryns’ realm for the spire. I’d really like to see that party in action with the addition of Tina.

Awesome chapter,you did a good job on it. I hope you had enough sleep, because I can’t wait to read an extra special chapter for when they get back to the kingdom for the graduation and when the princess tells her father she wants to join with Asti as a mate !

Excellent chapter as always. Couple corrections. Near the top, mope instead of mop. And not sure what you want here: “You girls even on your own skin when my eyes changed for the first time.” Looking forward to the next chapter! And cut yourself a bit of slack! I can’t even imagine the stress of daily life, with friends in Ukraine or living in the area. Anyone should be able to understand you are not living in normal times. Take care of yourself!
