The main character in the upcoming game

After revealing battle system, I want to reveal a little about the main character and story of the upcoming game for everyone to know.

Her name is Kagami Yagami, she's 18 years old and a high school girl.

She is a strong and determined girl, but she still has her feminine side.

- About story of the next game:

The game will be about a world where normal Humans live in cities where there is a species that looks like humans but is much smaller, only about 1cm in height, called Lilliputians. You can see Lilliputians anywhere on the street, they live and work like humans. There are even slums, criminals Lilliputians, thugs Lilliputians, etc...

The game will focus on the main character's story, encountering strange things and discovering the truth. In addition, I also plan to allow the player to explore the city where the main character lives and what can happen in a city where Humans and Lilliputians living together.

Thanks for the great advice, reading your advice made me come up with a few more interesting ideas to implement it, I'm still writing the script for the game while learning a lot of other things, thank you.

My main advice is make sure you write out the structure of your quest lines before putting them in game. Have one main quest line with various milestone nodes that you can use as the world state tracker for things in the world. Then make sure your sidequests are entirely optional. They are there to be a little extra worldbuilding and generally just fun though of course they may give useful items or other things to help on the main quest. For example, some sidequests might be avaliable from the start of the game, but others might only become avaliable once you complete mission 3 of the main quest. Likewise there may be several sidequests that are one and done, they have one mission or a short string of missions and that’s it, but others might be affected by whether you’ve completed or gotten to a certain point on other sidequests. The other thing is to think in terms of key locations, key people, and key events. and to not make everything avaliable all at once. For example, maybe there’s a train station that is under construction at the start of the game, but it opens up after doing Mission 3 of the Main Quest which opens up a new area that you’ll be going to in other parts of the Main Quest but also has its own fun things to do outside of that. Or it could be a store, or whatever. Repeatable quests or minigames can also be fun, but all of this is of course a massive amount of work so don’t destroy yourself trying to do everything. I’m not sure if any of that helps. As for story, I think it would be neat if maybe there’s even smaller humans than the lilliputians that Kagami finds after a point in the game. And maybe even smaller ones than that, and so on, which could add to some of the intrigue of “what is going on? Why are things like this?” But that really depends on what you want to do with the story. I think its be fun for Kagami to have run into the various smaller species for awhile but only learn later that those miniscule dots were even tinier humans than the lilliputians, those small bunches of crystals were cities for ones even tinier than that, and those things she thought were small patches of mold or dirt were really entire continents or worlds of yet tinier ones. That’s my suggestion.
