Tournament of Change Prelude P1

Author's Note: This is the first part of a LONG running series I plan to do throughout 2024. Wanted to do a silly tournament arc and feature my characters, my friend's characters, and tons of licensed chars in a goofy tourney. This part features Axel as a guest appearance!

Chapter 1: Card Games On Horseback

Chaos and order, two sides of the same coin. On one side you have everything the way it's meant to be, everything the way it SHOULD be. However, that kind of normalcy is often bland and predictable. On the other side, we have chaos. Wild and unpredictable, it brings with it both the potential for fun and havoc. The scales of the universe were about to tip towards one of these sides, but the question is which one? And who shall be the one to tip it? One being planned to be the one to tip it towards order, even if it involved doing the most horrible things imaginable...

Our story starts with our favorite meerkat and monkey couple, Jam and Meerina enjoying a day outside. Jam had another productive day of swapping bodies with any fat cartoon dude, hot furry chick, and anime waifu he could find! Meerina was there to cheer on his silly shenanigans, the pair enjoying the last 14 days before their wedding.

Jam smirked and scratched himself, "Ah, what a great day! Gonna miss swapping around once we're married,"

Meerina nodded, "Yep, meerkat and monkey marriage rules dictate that we must stay body-swapped with each other for a whole year!"

The monkey shrugged his shoulders and flexed his prehensile tail, "Doesn't matter to me, I love your body! The best one I've ever worn, my soon-to-be wife!"

Meerina blushed profusely, "O-Oh you, Jam!"

"Yep! And now that we're about to be married, I have a confession to make..."

Meerina raised an eyebrow, "T-That is?"

"Yeah, well, the thing is... I'm a demi-god,"

The meerkat was taken aback by the news, "What?"

"So yeah, turns out I was cloned by a pair of super advanced computers using a strand of the Monkey King's hair. I'm a magical/science-based clone of Sun Wukong and I'm slowly awakening to my god powers!"

"Wait, so you're technically a god now?"

"Demi-god, but yes! I've slowly been awakening my powers ever since I was told I had them. They've also been altering reality, a mysterious individual even warning me that they'll tear reality apart. I hope that doesn't change our relationship,"

Meerina shook her head and hugged her flabby arms against the monkey's torso, "Of course not! I'll always love you, god or mortal. And I doubt a silly monkey like you could ever 'tear reality apart',"

Jam returned her hug with one of his own, "Glad you believe in me! Anything you'd like to share yourself?"

Meerina nodded, "Well, I mastered my magical abilities! I still mess up a spell here or there, but I have far better control than when I started!"

"That's good! You know, it's kind of convenient that we develop and learn to control our badass powers at the same time! I hope that doesn't mean-"

Just then, the pair felt a strange surge of energy coursing through them, "That was weird! Well, what I was saying was-" Jam was cut off once more as a portal made out of purple pulsating energy appeared before them. The couple slowly approached the portal and peered into the purple vortex. They could vaguely make out what was on the other side, which appeared to be a world made out of playing cards.

Jam snickered as he stared into the purply portal, "Yep, that's what I was getting at! There's always some wild 'high stakes adventure' that happens right after the protagonists acquire new powers. I've seen enough anime to know where this is going!"

Meerina shrugged, "T-True, but we could also just not go inside!"

Jam raised a finger, "Yeah, fair point! I mean, we don't have any reason to go in there! So, let's just go home early and proclaim it's..."

THE E-

Before 'The End' could be properly typed out by the writer, Jam and Meerina were interrupted by a familiar shout: "Somebody help me, they're gonna end me!"

Jam and Meerina turned to each other and spoke at the same time, "That's Axel's voice!"

The meerkat gave Jam an earnest smile, "W-We have to save him and anyone else in there!"

Jam nodded, "True! We should be able to save him and get back just in time for the wedding,"

"Jam, the wedding is in two weeks, of course we'd have time!"

"True, but you never know how long these alternate universe adventures can go! It's why I always pack snacks in my endless 'hammerspace' pockets!"

"Y-You think of everything! Shall we go, lover?" Asked Meerina as she held out her hand.

Jam nodded and grabbed her hand right back, "Of course, love!"

The pair then leaped into the portal and travelled through a multicolored vortex, all while firmly holding each other's hands. They eventually landed on the other side of the portal and found themselves in what appeared to be a world made out of playing cards! The streets, buildings, and objects were all made out of said cards.

Upon arriving in the world, the pair quickly hid behind a bush of cards and scanned their surroundings. The denizens of this world appeared to be comprised of two kinds of beings: Knight-like entities made entirely out of playing cards that looked like knights in armor. These knights appeared to be the peacekeepers of this realm, flying overhead and watching the other denizens of this world from afar: A species of anthropomorphic horse people.

The horse-people made up most of the population, comprising the citizens of this world. Jam and Meerina watched a buff horse-man munching on an apple from afar, only for him toss the apple-core into the street. One of the knights flew down and landed in front of the horse, "You dare throw an apple-core on the ground in our beautiful city?!"

The horse-man panicked and picked up the core, "S-Sorry, it was just a whim, 'Card-Knight'!"

"Just a 'whim'? Whims lead to mistakes and mistakes lead to utter chaos. And you know that the Card-Knights decree all chaos is forbidden,"

"I-I'm so sorry, it won't happen again!"

The knight then grabbed the horse-man by his long snout and hoisted him in the air for all to see, "You better believe it won't happen again, you've earned yourself a one way trip to our 'Hospital and Prison Cardplex'! And I don't need to tell you what happens to those who get sent to the Cardplex for the latter..."

The Card-Knight then flew off with the horse-man in tow, still gripping onto his snout. Jam growled from his hiding place, "They can't get away with that! I mean, littering is bad, but it's not worth going to prison over!"

Meerina poked Jam, "Maybe this 'Cardplex' place is where they took Axel though!"

"That makes sense! Let me check..." Jam then closed his eyes and began to concentrate as he let his mind wander. He quickly sensed where Axel was where the location was as he opened his eyes, "You're right! That's exactly  where he is!"

"H-How did you know? Is that one of your god powers?"

"Yeah, I can just sense where people are now! Sadly, it's one of the few powers I can fully control right now. Anyway, let's go there!"

Meerina nodded, "Of course, but we'll need disguises!"

"Exactly! Since the Cardplex is also a hospital, one of us will have to become someone in need of using it!"

Meerina happily clapped her meerkat paws together, "Ooh, I know! I can use my magic to turn us into horse people, one of us will be a pregnant mare and the other her buff stallion lover. We'll then use that as an excuse to get into the hospital, sneak around, and find Axel!"

Jam gave her the thumbs up, "Great idea, Meerina! You're going to be the pregnant mare, right?"

The meerkat shot the monkey an evil grin and gave a slight cackle. "Uh... You're going to be the pregnant mare, right?" Jam repeated nervously.

Meerina responded by snapping her fingers, causing the pair to be enveloped by a green glow. The magic got to work, by first doubling the height of each shortstack. After they had each become 6 feet tall, the transformation kicked into overdrive. Their faces started to stretch out into long equine snouts, complete with large nostril holes at the end of each one. Their growing snouts pushed their eyes to the sides of their heads, splitting their vision in half.

Their feet and hand-feet hardened and transformed into big, shiny black hooves. Next to change were their physiques, starting with Meerina's. Her body bulked up and became incredibly muscular, her legs and arms becoming much thicker in the process. Her muscle mass increased to ridiculous lengths, to the point where her growing muscles ripped through her green librarian top. Her top was then magically replaced with a white sleeveless undershirt, one which showed off a considerably amount of her increased physique.

With his enhanced muscle mass, the new stallion began to flex, "T-This is amazing!" Meerina was ecstatic to be in a fit body for once, all of her flab removed and replaced with pure muscle. It was like becoming a body-builder, but with none of the actual hard work involved!

Muscles weren't the only thing Meerina was gaining though, as the former meerkat soon grew a large package between her legs. A pair of blue jeans appeared atop her legs to hide her new "male shame", though "his" considerable bulge was still quite visible! Jam was in the opposite boat, as he found his body becoming thinner and more feminine. His legs became curvier, his hips wider, and his shoulders more rounded.

His chest began to tingle, prompting him to smile, "Ooh, here we go!" A pair of massive breasts burst forth from the soon-to-be mare's chest, causing the former simian to start drooling. He grabbed his fat titties with a smirk on his face, just as he felt a tugging in his crotch. His male equipment soon disappeared, replaced by its female equivalent. "She" didn't mind too much as her fat titties made up for it!

She moaned and rubbed her fat breasts as a flowing red dress appeared on her body, "Nothing can ruin this moment!"

Jam's belly then began to rumble, prompting Meerina to shoot her a sly smirk. Just then, Jam's belly began to expand rapidly, like a balloon being filling with helium. Jam's belly grew to an insane degree, nearly knocking the poor mare to her feet in the process! As her belly grew, it pushed up her dress a bit, exposing her new lacey panties underneath!

Jam grumbled as she grabbed her belly, "I hope this isn't a real pregnancy!"

Meerina giggled as he strutted behind his bloated lover, "N-Not at all! It's a fake pregnancy created entirely by my magic! There's nothing actually in there"

Jam pulled her hands away from her belly and pouted, "Well, if you say so-"

Before Jam could finish, Meerina reached his arms around and grabbed hold of the mare's big belly with both hands. She squished it and kneaded it like dough, treating the mare as if she was actually pregnant, "Y-You're so soft, Jam! I love you like this!"

Jam blushed, "Well, once we save Axel and return to our own universe, we can do this spell again! Let's focus on the task at hand though!"

Meerina composed himself and pulled his muscly arms away, "S-Sorry, you're right!"

Jam gave him a reassuring pat on the head, "It's alright, Meerina! We can have some fun later, but there's only one thing we should do at the moment: And that's save Axel!"

The former meerkat gave a firm nod, "Exactly!"

Will our heroic couple be able to save Axel in time, before whatever has captured him enacts its plan upon him? Will our heroes be able to sneak in their new forms and fool the guards? And does Jam's fake bump make an excellent head-rest? Tune into the next exciting episode as we lead into the epic multi-part arc...
