2017-07-24 22:33:40 +0000 UTCI don't really think it's a matter of why. Kit has been working herself into the ground for selfish but understandable motives. Now she's suddenly forced to think about how her actions will affect those around her. The little fennec isn't going to let the efforts to save her father be undone without a fight. I'm more concerned with how far Kit will go to protect her research. Is she going to make a deal with the devil and side with Chicadino?

As much as I hate to see the lovable, bubbly, and tenacious Kit fall...I'm really happy to see things coming to a head in a very real and meaningful interaction. Brutal? Maybe. But this is powerful story telling. There isn't a reader here that isn't emotionally invested in the Kit/Poppy relationship. Keep up the awesome work and don't keep us on the edge of our seats for too long!

I think a lot of us were expecting a turn for the worse back when Kit announced how super awesome things were going and it was about time for marriage....errr....vacation. Little did we know how extreme the plot twist was going to be ;.; Turn people off? No way, this is dynamic story telling in action.
