February 2025 - People of Ancient Egypt

The People of Ancient Egypt token pack is here! I had a blast creating this mix of characters, from the powerful Pharaohs and noble priests to everyday villagers, merchants, and even lively dancers. These tokens are perfect for adding depth to your campaigns, whether you're building grand palaces or dusty desert towns. I can’t wait to see how you use them in your stories!

Spreadsheet Archive

We are experimenting with a Spreadsheet Archive, designed to streamline your token-finding experience. While we prioritize avoiding token names that could pose legal risks, this cautious approach can sometimes make locating specific tokens a bit challenging.

To address this, we've added a handy feature to the spreadsheet: a section labeled "This token could also be used to represent." Here, we encourage you, our valued patrons, to suggest alternative uses for each token. By phrasing suggestions as "this token could be used to represent a Beholder," rather than definitively labeling them, we aim to minimize legal concerns while maximizing versatility. Your input is invaluable in making this archive as useful as possible—thank you for your contributions!

You can find it here.

AI Transparency

I want to be fully transparent to you about the use of Artificial Intelligence as a tool in creating these tokens. I have used AI to increase my output and workflow. The way I use AI, is as a tool, as a part of the process.  Digital drawing and creative human input is still a large part of the process.

Foundry VTT

To simplify the import of these images into Foundry VTT, I recommend using the 'Drag Upload' module.

All tokens come in multiple variations

WebP or PNG

The download includes both WebP and PNG files. WebP is smaller in file size but not yet supported by all browsers and applications. You can safely use it in Foundry VTT. Use PNG for Roll20 and other VTTs.

Comments

Hi CWilliams. Can you elaborate a bit more?

Online Tabletop

Truly love the detail in these, but there is one problem... The angle/point of view is actually kinda terrible for any VTT that can turn a token in the direction it moves. Not checked on the animals, but I wager the ones turned 45 degrees would also run into the same problem.
