The Listener was introduced as a Hedge Necromancer and a member of the Veilbound Order, a secret society that tries to stop threats to the Empire before they begin. Then we were given the choice between investigating the Necromancy School or trying to stop a hidden Witch Market that was trading in demon deals and spirits~

You chose the Witch Market, and so our story begins in the woods...

Midway through working on this story, the subscription service I use for music and sounds removed every sound effect in their library and replaced all of them with new ones. While this a logistical nightmare for my process (and avoiding copyright strikes on my channel), it means you get new sounds~! There are over 170 sound files in this bad boy; it's bursting with ghosts, demons, romance, bad jokes, bartering and adventure.

As a reminder, a preview for this series will be posted on YouTube in lieu of the romance audio for that week, so there will be no audio in advance~

I had to think about this one for a long time~! Coming up with sleep-worthy endings to big problems is always a challenge, but I think I got it. This series reminds me a lot of The Legacy of Keres, in that there was a lot of moving parts. I think if you liked that one, you'll like this one~! I'm happy with how it came out, I tried really hard to let this one breathe with the timing, and I'm pretty sure all my Chekhov's Guns got hung on the wall appropriately~

I was terrified to render it after the hardrive issues I had last month where I lost hours of work. D: But everything went off without a hitch~! Yaaaaaaaaaay~!
