Patron-only content on SirTapTap.com (Beta)
Added 2018-02-28 17:35:31 +0000 UTCI'm still in the process of working out all the kinks, but I'm going to be hosting all my Patreon-exclusive content on sirtaptap.com as well. If you prefer using Patreon's site, I'll still be posting all content on here too, so no worries!
The coolest thing is you won't have to make a separate login on my site, you'll simply log in with Patreon and Patreon will handle your access (for the most part). The only manual thing is ad-free logins, you'll have to send me a quick message and I can activate ad-free access.
Why it's still beta
There's some minor hitches which is why the feature is still in beta and I haven't officially rolled out the ad-free reward yet: due to the Progressive Web App setup I have on my site (which caches pages for offline access and blazing fast page loads), sometimes users load a "logged out" version of a page from cache instead of getting the new one.
I've tinkered and this should happen much less often and refreshing the page should almost always fix the issue, but I'd still like it to be seamless before I totally roll it out.
Let me know how stable the login/ad free experience is. My site's cached to the nines which means it's as fast as possible, but also that when I change stuff it's hard to tell if it's fully working or not until a while later.
