Yong An is the kingdom that rose out of the ruins of Xie Lian’s kingdom after it fell. Prince Taihua/Lang Qianqiu was one of the crown princes of Yong An. This is one of the reasons other officials were gossiping and comparing Xie Lian and Lang Qianqiu in episode one, since they’re both heavenly officials from different dynasties of the same kingdom more or less. (Also a call back to season one, because the people of Half Moon Pass were at war with Yong An) Also don’t apologise for the innuendo you made about Hua Cheng’s sword. That is *absolutely* what the donghua team/author meant to imply when writing anything about Xie Lian touching the scimitar lol (it gets even more blatant later in the story) but E’ming is still cute as hell for a deadly weapon. Can’t wait to watch episode 4 with you!
