Abject Suffering 626: Todd's Adventures in Slime World

We, however, are indifferent to slime, and also think this game isn't too terribly bad. So we talk about the dead-end economics of the slime-content, and carousels for some reason.

2025-09-10 06:05:17 +0000 UTCA roommate I had in college wanted to get a stuffed giraffe for his girlfriend, and couldn't find one anywhere except for the build-a-bear in the mall. The woman working there made him go through EVERY. STEP. of making his bear, from selecting just the right amount of fluff, to whispering a wish on a little plastic heart and spinning around to make sure it came true before he put it in the bear's body. This is a guy who had easily a head of height and a hundred pounds of muscle on me and the fact that he let himself be guilted into some care bear roleplay by some tiny middle aged woman at the mall just so his girlfriend could have an over-priced giraffe makes me smile every time I remember it.
