I have to commend them for serving a title track with their usual rock influence, very impressive whilst still bringing something new.
The bsides. though of great quality didn't really excite me or stand out in any way, especially vocally which is a shame but I do think there's room to grow.
Also HYBE needs to PULL TF back on the vocal processing man, like let's hear their tones PLEASE fucking hell.
I'm eagerly looking forward to their dance practices.

2025-11-02 17:21:33 +0000 UTCi was so excited for this album, i really like the title track i just wish there was less processing on the vocals as well. i'm not sure why hybe is so obsessed with overprocessing vocals, a variety in vocal tones gives a song so much more depth. ugh still love &team though and i'm forever hoping to hear more from fuma in their songs

Even though &team is my top boy group, I do admit that Japanese people just tend to sing more nasal-y in general compared to Koreans/Westerners etc. But it is true that they have the ability to sound warmer and more rounded, so it does boil down to the songwriting and top line melodies they choose. I thought this was a good album but no where near the quality of their last release with deer hunter
