In this episode, I unpack the debut of “Xnghan & Xoul”, Seunghan’s long-anticipated return to the spotlight. After months of silence, controversy, and shifting narratives, how does his first step as a soloist land? We dive into the sound, visuals, lyrics, and the statement it sends. Was it worth the wait?

Let’s talk artistry, public perception, and what this debut means for Seunghanniee and the ones who waited so long for his return.

Yes!! it was a pleasant surprise, he really seems to have gotten the best deal possible

7:46 this was the most surprising thing imo! The fact that he mentioned riize and wished them well was beautiful and provided some sort of closure to me - someone who liked riize since debut and was heartbroken about what happened. It felt like there were no hard feelings involve and honestly it made me want to continue supporting him through and through. Now riize on the other hand, the way they kind of ignored him in smtown did not sit well with me. I know that a lot happens behind the scenes and they could be best friends for all we know, but the fact that sm wants them to publicly ignored him and they're going along with it is only painting them as rude/bad people in the eyes of a lot of international fans.

Yesss i think Xoul could also come and go and the next Xoul would have to be really exciting. The possibilities are endless really. And yes I was shocked about Taemins sales too! The bigger sellers are Baekhyun and D.O.!

When we were boycotting RIIZE/Speak up for him, so many people were trying to diminish our efforts and say it wouldn't accomplish anything, yet clearly it impacted SM far more than we may ever know because they're doing more for Seunghan than I ever thought possible, even when I was thinking of the best case scenario for him. He seems to have more support/freedom than even some of the more established artists have gotten before him, and he's already being sent to shows and having his own merch/content, like you mentioned. I was also shocked when he brought up Taemin's sales compared to his. I had no idea Taemin's sales are so low and couldn't believe it, so I looked it up, and his most recent album really do only have about 114k first-week sales, and Guilty, his most successful album sales-wise, sold less than 200k first week, and he's a well-established artist who's still a part of a very successful group. I already thought Seunghan's debut success is crazy and unexpected, but it's even crazier than I thought. The only thing I'm worried about is if they do rotate Xoul, there could be some disappointed fans because people are already starting to get attached to Yul and Kyo. They'll really need to be smart about how they rotate them out if/when they do it, because not eveyone knows they're a rotational unit, and as they continue to make more content together, people are going to get more and more attached to them as a unit. It could become an NCT DREAM situation where fans pushed back against their "graduation" system because they got attached.
