Hi guys, it's time for a quick update on what I've been up to this month. It's mostly SR6 stuff, though I've also got a little something for OSR2 users too.
The biggest thing is an update to the SR6 kinematics. The code that I put out last month with the SR6 worked just fine, but the servo mixing algorithm was extremely basic and left a lot to be desired. This new code uses some much more complex maths, which means that the axis movements are much more precise.
I've got a couple of videos of the new code in action here.
In addition I am going to add in functionality for the T-wist and T-Valve to the SR6 code. The T-valve has been particularly interesting because once the T-wist is installed along with the 6 arm servos all of the Romeo's 8 digital pins are being used. I think, however, that I have found a way to install the T-Valve on one of the Romeo's analog pins.
I've put a lot of time into that code this month, so it will be going up on the $8 tier in the next few days.
In addition, I have a new OSR2 power bus video tutorial that will be going up on the $2 tier.
Stay tuned!
