Hi everyone,
First of all an apology for my recent absence. The world has seemingly gone mad in the last few weeks and I have had to adapt to a new living and working situation. I want to thank all my patrons for their support and patience and hopefully I will be able to get back to my regular schedule from here on.
It's a new month so I have a couple of patron posts coming up, and I would also like to use this post to give a shout out to a couple of other developers who have done some pretty cool stuff with TCode.
For the $2 tier I have a 3D-printable mounting frame that I will be releasing shortly. This is compatible with the IKEA Poäng chair mount that I have released previously.
I also have a more advanced next generation machine in the works but given the limited time I've had to work on it this month it will probably be May before I get it released. This month's $8 tier release will therefore be a consolidation of the OSR2. I have a couple of tweaks that I would like to make, so expect that post in the next day or so.
So on to the shout outs:
RegoloVR

For those of you who have not come across it yet RegoloVR has been creating a behavioural engine for VaM. It's a scene where you are in a room with a girl and she will perform from a menu of possible actions in an excitingly unpredictable way.
I've been working with Regolo to implement TCode in his plugin, and his latest release includes a multi-axis TCode output for two of the actions: kneeling BJ and cowgirl. This is really cool because there's no positional setup required, the output comes direct from the behavioural engine. You can enable this functionality in RegoloEngine config file.
I highly recommend you check out RegoloVR's patreon and support his work. It has amazing potential.

VRHell

I also want to shout out the work done by VRHell on a VaM scene, or rather a series of VaM scenes, that have TCode built into them. I asked him if he had a patreon that I could point you to and he told me that he hasn't but that a link to his post on reddit would be just fine.

The scene is made for the original OSR3, but I have taken the liberty of modifying the plugin to work with the current version of TCode (v0.2) and thus drive the OSR2.

Note that with this plugin you will have to open it (window notepad will do) and hard code in your COM port (eg COM7) to get it to work. It's a faff, but the advantage to this approach is that the OSR will automatically respond to each new scene without any setup. Just open the scene and the robot will start up.
Do check this scene out and give him some feedback. I'm sure we'd all love to see more excellent work like this!
