OSR2+ Build Files

It's time to add another axis to your OSR2!

I have designed an add-on that you can use with your existing OSR2 to allow it to rotate in pitch as well as roll.

This post contains all the 3D print (STL) files you need. You will also need six M3x10 bolts and M3 washers and an extra standard servo. The third servo plugs into pin 9 on the Romeo; the external power bus is recommended but not essential.

The Pitcher arm should be attached to the third servo such that it is at right angles to the main arms on start-up. Remove the support arm bolt from the OSR2 base and use the same bolt to attach the support arm to the pitcher arm instead.

You will need to install the latest Arduino plugin (Release2_2.ino). I am also releasing today an updated TCode Serial Controller for VaM, which outputs the second rotation axis. These are open source, so will be shared in a public post.
