New Year Progress Update
Added 2020-01-01 14:44:52 +0000 UTCHi Guys, and Happy New Year!
So what next? Where do I plan to go with this page in 2020?
Earlier this month I released the build plans for the OSR3, my prototype three-axis stroker robot. It’s been really exciting reading the overwhelmingly positive reception my work has had in the community, and especially the rave reviews by the people who have built their own OSR3 and been able to experience using it for themselves.
My mission is to give to you the plans for the ultimate stroker robot and show you how to put it together yourself from a handful of easy to source parts. I also want to make sure it works with a range of adult content, starting with VaM.
I’ve been listening to your feedback. The first thing I have learned is that 3D printers are everywhere, and most people find it harder to get access to laser cutting than I thought. I have therefore got my hands on a 3D printer and started trials with 3D printed parts. From now on I plan to focus on 3D printed designs.
The next thing I have learned is that the OSR3’s HS-805BB servos are quite an unpopular choice. They are fast and powerful, but they are also expensive, bulky and sometimes difficult to get hold of. I have therefore been looking at some alternatives for future designs.
Finally, whilst the OSR was originally inspired by VaM I have also been talking to some people who create scripts to sync the movement of toys with adult videos. There is a lot of interest to add in support for open source toys like OSR3, which is a very exciting development. I will keep you all up to date on that!

I want to say a special thanks to those of you who have supported me through this page. Building prototypes costs money; I need to buy servos, microcontrollers, PLA filament, nuts & bolts, etc. Every little contribution helps me bring my work to you.

Gosh, thanks! That’s really generous.
