I did not expect a side discussion of motorcycles to rabbit trail first into motorcycle animes/manga, then to Shin Chan, and finally to obscure Japanese language puns. Thanks for the entertainment, that was thoroughly well worth it.

JIS or stripped Philips? Who's to say?

Merl Lewis

I'm sorry to hear that. Inevitable but regrettable

Loosing his clutch apparently !

Guy K

Unasked for advice re GS clutch ....don't be tempted to replace the clutch basket springs that need re riveting, it's a waste of time as they rattle again 1000 miles later. Also if the clutch basket fingers are dimpled, dress them back flat without removing too much material , it stops the clutch grabbing, and finally if the metal plates are smooth then a dot punch on them done lightly can bring them back around . Not my first rodeo , and yes I may have had a few 16 valves ( they are GSX in UK parlance) . The Merc confusion made me laugh , as I was sure I'd bunged in a few pix, nice one Mae ! Sorry to hear about your dog , loosing pets is always hard .

Guy K

So Othais has some screws loose, stripped threads, and broken nuts. Sounds about right! ;)

Jason

Hang in there..big love to all the dogs. The more you love em, the harder it goes. Spare the show...spoil that dawg.

Hey guys thanks for the podcast updates! This is honestly some of my favorite content. Sorry to hear about Tula. (Great name btw.) We also have an aging pup who's getting weak in the hind end so can relate. An idea came to mind when you were talking about finding a very specific table for the new format. Maybe look at the standing desks and coffee tables that rise or lower as needed. If nothing right is available the mechanism could be taken and adapted to a custom table. If a really heavy duty solution is needed a lift made for quads or motorcycle repair might work. 🤔 Best of luck with Tula and the new studio!

What's JIS? You mean Phillips?😢

Merl Lewis

I’m with Othais as I thought Mae said”Mark” instead of “Merc!” 😂😂I always enjoy the podcasts and looking forward to the new format.

My parents had to put down their 11 year old mastiff who had similar issues with her back legs not working a couple of weeks ago.

Cameron Phillips

An illustrated cliff notes with the light box graphic would be interesting. Because that graphic includes so much information at just a quick look. Talk about condensed information. That and a still of the x-ray animation would be nice to have and would cover pretty much everything visually.

At the ~ 43 min mark, in the mailbag, when Guy talks about his "Merc 230," your listeners must remember that that Brits are a bit tetched: when they say "Merc" they don't mean short for a Mercury as everyone recognizes, but they're instead referring to what's commonly known as a "Benz." Somehow they think that you can take "Mercedes" ["Mur Say Deez" (NO NUTS!)] and shorten it to "Murk" [taking a sibilant "c" and switching it to the hard k sound; huh?]] and people will realize that they've invented a new term for what everyone else in the world has called a Benz for dog's years. You can't blame them, being all backward & whatnot w/ that silly monarchy business & all... 😁

I feel for you, & for the C&Rsenal team. Losing dogs is such heartbreak. If they didn't flat out adore us worthless humans so much, it wouldn't be so hard.

Bruce Brodnax

We had to let our dog go last Friday. After we also had to do the same for our other dog not even 6 months ago. I'm sorry to hear about what your dog is going through.

Alexander Christian
