I've gone to my opthalmologist w/ an old pair of glasses and they've run the lenses in an optical analyzer and come back in a matter of minutes w/ what the general diopter was [yeah, astigmatism, so not exact.] You've got two lenses to check, they're called "Gallilean" so I'm guessing one is going to be positive diopter and the other negative? Anyway, once the optician tells you what the lenses are, they can probably tell you what they'd charge to make modern versions in polycarb. [Don't forget to ask what it would be for a bulk discount of a dozne or so for prototyping, and then if you came back w/ real #s for preorders from all the smelly nerds who're following this... Sorry, "SMLE fans". My bad! π] The measurements for the "frames" you can make yourselves and give them to your 3d printing friends for mockup. Stop trying so hard to do it right the 1st time and just iterate your way to success on the cheap! π
