2024-05-22 15:06:44 +0000 UTCI haven't really watched movies in a while either, and my coworkers get pretty bummed out when they ask me if I ever watched that movie they recommended but, I don't have a lot of free time and it doesn't even have a spot anywhere on my hierarchy of needs and desires. Also, moist Othias is something that cannot be unspoken, so thanks for that gem.

Parents want to keep son close for help when needed but he wants to have a place where he's not "living at home w/ the parents."

2024-05-18 20:25:57 +0000 UTCWRT the trailer incident: years ago, when I had *just* got out of the DMV getting my little HF folding trailer certified & titled, some chucklehead rear-ended me at a stop light. Beautiful, clear day. Bright orange trailer. Typical low-cal SoCal incompetence behind the wheel. No visible damage, but it tweaked the trailer so it forever ever was difficult to fold and always wants to crab ever so slightly as you're rolling. !#$@

2024-05-18 20:16:55 +0000 UTCBe careful w/ the old Gun Reports content: they were notorious for glowing reviews of guns they got for free early on [I subscribed back in the mid-90s.] It was pretty easy to discern when they were blowing sunshine where it don't belong. They got better w/ time: around the time they started putting their online stuff behind a paywall they'd finally started to realize that nobody believing their reviews was a hazard to their brand and had started buying everything they reviewed so that they weren't beholden. Still, having access to old reviews of guns that are OOP like the Ruger 96 is going to be a nifty resource for you.
