I know you have a protocol for shooting segments (fire some shots, demo the safety, slomo shot, shoot to empty) that works and has been consistent from gun to gun, but I have a suggestion to add to it for automatics: a mag change. The Norwegian 1911 slide release brought this to mind.

Maybe I missed it, but did during the shooting segment I noticed that while the manual safety was demonstrated, the grip safety was not. I believe in all the other 1911 shooting segments, both were demonstrated.
Probably far too late to do anything about it.

Thank! I blame my lack of sleep on that one, why I didn't just copy/paste it from everywhere else I don't know.

if you reach the laaaate ega serial numbers.... hey I unfortunately still need a 1911. only semi I actually would buy. question is what route. all modern old or in between. I like 80s series rather well.

I don't care about slide releases much unless have to lock open. I never use them to actually release. however that looks like an easy to use twist. but that nonexisting beavertail.... man that is not enough AT ALL.

I have not read any of the documentation, but in the norwegian military being able to operate your gear wearing mittens is a Thing. As such, it would not surprise me if the extended slide release and fancy holster where added after winter field trails. 🤔

Given the settings currently have 1080p available, I suspect it's just youtube's processing taking a while - they seem to prioritise 360 as a minimum for mobile viewing and other, higher, resolutions take longer to be available. I've seen this on various videos on many channels, so nothing unique to C&Rsenal.
This does technically penalise you for trying to watch just after release, which seems a bit dumb, unless the video is uploaded ahead of time and scheduled for release after the processing is done.

Not complaining mind you, just curious: why do you upload in the old potato-vision NTSC 360 line resolution but not DVD standard 480? I only ask because I DL almost everything I watch from YT at 480 as the minimum tolerable resolution for later viewing offline. If it was me, I'd lose both the 240? & 360 resolutions in favor of the 480, because anything under 480 is basically unwatchable to modern eyes...
