PhoenixPhart has been using that name for like...13 years now? At least that's how long it's been since I first ran into him on a mostly dead imageboard. It's great to see he's still taking great pictures and informative videos. Combining his video style with your ability to info-dump should make the shotgun series great.

Steven Faiello

Wait... did Othais just tell Mae that's *she's* over-explaining?! :)

Brian Ingram

You should do the shotgun series like the Japanese Gun Porn videos of the 90s. Henry from 9-Hole has reviewed a few!

Jeff Walker

I'm sure you might have them but I have a Winchester 1897 takedown from 1957 and if I recall correctly, a 1920'-30's Belgium Auto-5 with two barrels (both full chokes but differing sizes) if you might need some extra toys for the upcoming fun. The Browning might need a new butt-stock due to poor design.

Aric P

Oh man, I'm not sure I know where I've shoved them all...

C&Rsenal

I don't think I'd feel right e-begging over the IRS. I only e-beg over our hard work!

C&Rsenal

Q: can you post a video with a compilation of your "War Were Declared" montages, with links to their sources? Or maybe just a "Minute of Mae" style version on each montage? I feel like you could do a full length episode on each of those montages, but that'd be a whole other project. I'll try to remember to repost this on the official Q&A 3 thread, just wanted to get it written so I don't forget.

William Christensdn

we need a video of Mae's rage quit!

Ed V

"I have been shoving it in a lot of things, and so far, nothing as turned for me." Quote of the day by Mae

Joshua Alberry

So basically, it's YouTube. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Anders Weidik Bendsen

With regards to YouTube and reloading, I've come to the conclusion that it's basically a grandfather clause. YouTube doesn't like reloading or ammunition based content, but if an existing channel has already built their following around that type of content, they will continue to tolerate them because they would don't want to loose the advertising revenue that that channel brings. If a smaller channel tries to introduce this type of content, it's easier to ban them or suppress this content through demonetization, because it's not established and the fan base is smaller. So basically, it's a double standard.

Hunter Compton

I am buying that killings game, seems interesting. I may join Matt's patreon just to screw with him haha

Eric Sammywaifu

Great podcast...more podcasts please

Chris Marchi

I've been a fan of C&Arsenal for a few years now but it's the percussion series that got me to throw in on patreon. I never gave the slightest shit or even knew about hand traps but now I love that series too. Glad to hear there's more new stuff in the works. Also, if the IRS keeps fucking you around you should do a video about it, probably end up with a ton of support and new patrons, everyone universally hates the IRS

History&Coffee

Inrange is more of a vlog than a traditional youtube channel. I think the audience doesn't need to know about some the behind the scenes stuff like emails from world of tanks advertisers or whatever. I'm worried that inrange will be overtaken by drama bullshit.

Laz Capistrano

Whatever you do, it will be awesome. I like your shirts, your content, your fundraisers. Your channel is fun and educational! Thats why I give you my patreon dollars instead of gun jesus (he doesnt want them as bad as you guys)

Gage

can bruno be on the next one pls. WE demand BRUNO!

Leslie Alexander

No doubt.

C&Rsenal

Quite lovely actually, it even got the nod from some of the other guests. Though I think they were drunk at the time so I'm unsure if that counts. But Mae and I were definitely happy, thank you.

C&Rsenal

Yeah we don't have a twitch. Not really our deal as gaming is a BREAK not a job for us.

C&Rsenal

its in the works

C&Rsenal

Well it would be in David's wheelhouse first. I suspect a show might help get people talking and sharing.

C&Rsenal

We'll keep going.

C&Rsenal

I love the idea of him saying "no you don't"

C&Rsenal

Honestly, a 'disposable' C&Rsenal B channel to post up your 'evil' content might be the best option to actually get out this otherwise disallowed information on the Tube. At least until we can find a way to pull the stick out of Tube's corporate arse, and beat them over the head with it. I'm wanting Utreon to go 100% and put out a mobile app. You are right that convenience is so important to us the viewer. I tried the RecoilTV app, but gave up because it was such an incredible pain, I couldn't find the specific content I wanted (easily or at all), and it ran the same 3 commercials like every 45 seconds!

TankDestroyerSarge

On the whole Reichsrevolver thing, I think after seeing the first two Reprocussion episodes with the Colt Paterson and where the early cap and ball systems were, the Reichsrevolver goes from being completely obsolete from the get go to making a lot of sense when you’re upgrading from single shot pistols.

Chris Stochaj

It was just a casual/impromptu stream on the Discord server. Not sure if they have a link to it on Patreon, but you can click the Discord logo at candrsenal.com on the bottom of the page. Just remember to read the rules when you get there.

Tenacious Trilobite

Speaking of the Texas trip, I think you mentioned bringing pipe tobacco along, so I am still waiting for thoughts on the flavor(s).

Andrey Gardner

I agree with most of the above. I have little interest in modern guns and none in modern shooting, so I skip red dot tests and a lot of the WWSD stuff. It is also less interesting without Ian. They make a good odd couple. One reason I do keep visiting though is he has been actively fighting against YouTube for years, trouble is lockdown seems to make him willing to fight the world.

Bradwan

I respect Karl for not just parroting the “proper” guntuber opinions. There are some places where he strays where I don’t necessarily disagree, but he gets some odd thoughts occasionally. And I don’t always really want another opinion piece. I like the Old West vignettes. But a lot of the other videos don’t really do it for me. Most of his product reviews are not anything I care about. I think it’s been detriment that Ian isn’t as available, their collabs were what I always liked the most.

PoindexterG

Not all the lady streamers are girlstreamers. A great example is Sofilein, who focuses on World of Tanks and related content. She streams on twitch and her YouTube channel is tank related stuff. https://youtube.com/c/Sofilein

Bryon Simon

sorrey if I missed this somewhere, but Mae, where do you play games? Twitch? Got a link?

Timothy Barrera

Mae should do a live stream where she plays battlefiled 1 (for better or worse that show helped yall out, it dropped about the same time the great war got started and Im going to be honest, it got me out of only WW2 studies and into WW1 & WW2 studies/collecting), and while she plays she talks about how accurate the guns are in the game (since she has shot ALOT of them personally).

Gage

I want to like InRange, I really do, but he doesnt do that much content of substance anymore. He does more opinionated stuff. I honestly miss the mud testing... I liked watching those because they were HARD MUD TESTS so you really saw what worked and what didn't (as an engineer thats very interesting to me)

Gage

Do you have a poster campaign coming up to help finance the show? Love the show and the podcast. Keep it up. Also do you plan to do an episode on the British Martini-Henry?

Timothy Billow

I watched InRange on bitchute for a while but just gave up because the comments were a ratpit and I hated most of the rest of the content. I now watch on GunStreamer but I have no interest in the rest of the content and I keep forgetting to watch.

Bradwan

You could talk to Headstamp publishing to see if they might publish the book. "C&Rsenal features: GunSquatch's Reloading Guide"

Gage

Actually, have yall thought of publishing a reloading book on historical loads? I mean youd have to be careful so as not to get sued for nimrods who make hot loads, but Im always STRUGGLING to easily find Data on cartridges that yall shoot (because I like collecting cool C&Rsenal featured guns). For example, 8x56R for the Styer M95 Carbines; I have the lyman 50th edition, Speer 13th and 14th edition, Nosler 8th edition, Hornady 9th and 10th edition, AND NOT A SINGLE PAGE OF LOAD DATA FOR THAT ROUND. I have to go and look in "Cartridges of the world" and that book is not always accurate either...

Gage

Im one of those people whos usually stubborn about going off of the youtube platform to see other content (because no other platform has an app for xbox, which I use as as my TV/DVD/media computer, but I would bust out the laptop to go look at C&Rsenal reloading data

Gage

I love your boring content. I can definitely relate to the rotten financial stuff, hoping things stay okay for a while. It always makes me smile to see something new from C&Rsenal come up, no matter how bad of a depression day I'm having.

Sugar, like MSG, is a flavor enhancer.

Wayne Dygert

I was in Berlin, I think, near the end of a vacation many years ago. I was used to eating popcorn nearly nightly as a snack, before I left for Europe for the trip. I saw a movie theater and thought 'hey, theater butter popcorn' and walked inside and said to the ticket guy that I didn't want to go to a movie, I just wanted a huge bucket of popcorn. He said 'no, you don't.' I said why not. He said the popcorn has sugar in it, like a continental version of caramel corn. I asked if it could not be added, and I'd buy a whole load. He said no, it's in the mix, in the bag that goes into the machine. So I cried a little (not really) and left popcornless. Sad. So, Mae, I understand your pain.

Funny thing: I was revisiting the 300k podcast when the email came through. XD
