With sufficient application of currency, any engineering problem can be accomplished. With that said, maybe check on The European market. I recently came across a Czechoslovakian company that sells AR's chambered for (I believe) 6.5 Swede. They also make something called the LA-11 7.5 Swiss, which is basically an AR-10 pattern rifle but chambered for 7.5 swiss. I have no idea if one of those guns is even in the united states... but it would be really cool to see those old carteidges run in a modern AR. Now we can finally standardize our modern muskets in the same "obsolete" cartridges as our collectables! *Loads AR magazine with swiss GP11 chargers*

Thank May for fixing the Norwegian Mdl 1894 vs. Danish Mdl 1889 Krag sight frame. I like the flag tags better than the text labels too.

Othais: if you ever sell that NorskieKrag, I want first dibs! I keep hoping someone will do a run of 6.5 Swede M1 Garand barrels: wouldn't *that* be sweet? :-D

Mae Responding: Hey thanks guys for pointing out some errors with the episode! We have since corrected it and this same link should redirect you to the new episode. I included the corrected timestamps in the comment section on it. Thanks for the support!

Also posted this on the youtube vid for the 300k podcast, but wanted to post it here too in case you don't read those as much: This show is my favorite thing on youtube, and what I consider to be the gold standard of what can be accomplished without being ruled by advertising. Pure passion being funded by people who are inspired by it, creating and disseminating a historically relevant cache of knowledge that otherwise would not exist. It breaks my heart that it took such a toll on you to create it, but I am forever grateful and comforted by the fact that there are people like you out there who can create something meaningful regardless of the forces arrayed against you. Congratulations on the milestone, and thank you for persevering long enough to get there.

Love all your videos. Can't hardly wait for the next Krag video on the Norwegian carbines. Only one small issue with this one on the Norwegian Krag 1894 rifle, and that is that I do believe that you miss labeled the frame showing a comparison of the Danish and Norwegian Krag rifle sights. I know it's nit picking, but there it is.

Lovely video that i have been waiting for for a while, but the comparison at 49:20 is wrong.

How hard is it to get ammo for these old rifles?

Loving the tongue in cheek 'comments' over on Yewtoob. Not to mention the rain bouncing off the front hand guard whilst at the range. EDIT: Chronological listing of adoption? Noice!

The Norwegian krag had a speed loader for shooting competitions, but I'm not sure when it appeared
