Week in Review:
Added 2019-09-04 03:35:16 +0000 UTClet's do some updates:
1. Jay has retired from our ammo position because he has a new girlfriend. That's not the real reason but it sounds funnier. Kristin, one of our rangemasters, has taken on the title thanks to her compulsion to do a science. She produced our successful Glisenti ammo for the last trip
2. Shotguns are largely at a standstill. Two outstanding rare pieces have locked things down. I am, however, currently busying myself trying to unpack Marlin's mess. So many models and then suffix designations. I THINK I have it mostly sorted and I'm just trying to get the dates down now. Wildly confusing and even Brophy's book misses the order/purpose of each change. If I can get it organized I may put out a survey.
3. The Lebel re-make went out this week and many people noted how much we've improved. Yes, practice makes perfect and I have learned to do a lot of templating etc to help streamline. But honestly at least half of all improvement has come from you all funding this program. I can afford Bruno and Mae, I can afford to flex on risky books and resources, etc and so forth. Thank YOU.
4. The trip up to Morphys with Ian was a great success for us, for him... well some things didn't run quite right. But the Villar Perosa range footage is in the bag. We'll film the history bits at a museum, and that will be that.
5. We got back from 22 hour round-trip drive just in time for hurricane prep. So we've been rushing together the next episode and prepping scripts for those beyond. As usual, whenever we stretch extra issues arise.
But we're safe overall and should see this one through like the rest. Just going to drop this update a bit early to make sure it doesn't get missed in the chaos.

I ended up watching both Lebel videos last week. Yes, the new one was much better, and in the more detailed format we're spoiled with now. It was just in time, as I just picked up a Lebel, and immediately went to C&Rsenal for a good run down. Haven't received Ian's book yet...

I recently had YouTube auto-play the original, and was amazed to see how far your current videos have come. Back then, you guys were already doing some of the best gun content on YouTube; but you've raised the bar again and again on yourselves. It was a blast to see y'all redo the old episode up to your current standards.
