Wednesday Review : 100
Added 2019-06-06 00:22:26 +0000 UTC1. I hacked Ian's livestream, by accident. Ian over at Forgotten Weapons was doing a live stream for supporters of his new book. I saw he was live and thought I would call and congratulate him. The moment my phone range his the stream died and after 5 rings and no pick up I figured he was busy with technical issues. So I hung up. The stream immediately returned. Apparently he was using his phone.
Of course, I made for for this buy alluding to the story of Mae stealing his pants, which caused the live commenters to spam him with pants emojis. Basically, I'm his worst friend. My bad.

2. I found a Sjogren hidden away somewhere inexpensive. I'm very proud of this find. But, for now, it isn't much use. IF we are to cover non-US repeating shotguns we will need to locate a Becker, and a Larsen Winterros to make the first half of the series.
3. Another Union Fire Arms has come in, and this one has yet another take down latch. That means we know of 5 variants of the gun, 3 variants of the latch, and strangely, this is the first gun to not stay in serial order on a feature. This "type B" take down has a serial number sitting between two known to have "type C" latches.
You can see our notes so far here:

If anyone spots a "Type 2" from that list, please let me know? I'd love to buy one and thankfully they go very inexpensively. I'm also curious if anyone has seen a "Type 0" ever or if anyone has seen a serial # under 1,000. I suspect they started at 1,000
4. I spent the whole of yesterday filming way too many firearms at once in order to free time for my trip to Cody. Only one had an issue so I will have to go back out next week for a touch up, but given the heat and exhaustion I kinda figured.
It seems like every time I spend an entire day outside of cell reception everything goes bananas. I came back to a number of business emails, personal messages, etc. But as far as you all are concerned: apparently we're looking at Adpocalypse 2.0?
Well if YouTube gets temperamental we always have BitChute, which I'm going to update this week. I apologize that it is behind but it has this odd uploading method where the video sits in limbo, and you can't change release order, blah blah blah... basically I have to be present the whole time it is uploading and check on it every 10 minutes. It drags on a bit.

Mostly, Mark's show is our big liability and it is already being de-monetized frequently.
5. If, for whatever reason, you don't care for Patreon, we do have SubscribeStar. The numbers are just very low over there and we have not, yet, taken any cash from the endeavor. However you do have that option.

6. Worries aside, we finally made it to 100 episodes of Primer! I'm taking it as a compliment that I rarely hear anyone wondering if we could even get that many guns out of WWI.
I'm planning a brief video announcement on this point so no need to overdo it here. I will, however, say THANK YOU ALL for the support. Literally impossible without you, to an individual, and I mean it.

My dream in life is $1 from every regular viewer and not a penny more. That alone and we'd be all set!

2019-06-09 01:52:28 +0000 UTCYour team makes my absolute favorite show to watch. I hope you are able to continue on for as long as you want. I only wish I could afford to support your show more.

2019-06-09 00:22:10 +0000 UTCIt is truly my pleasure to be a part of your opus endeavors in the firearm genre, however small a part. Thank all you for your hard work and great sacrifices for our viewing pleasure.

2019-06-06 05:44:54 +0000 UTCFunny you mention a Sjogren, I just ran into one myself and bought it. What a strange gun....

2019-06-06 02:33:47 +0000 UTC1. Congrats on 100 episodes of primer. I wasn’t here in the beginning but waiting for that every other Monday is something I do actually think about. 2. Didn’t Ian just say he’s been hunting for a Sjogren and finally got to shoot one but not take it apart? I think he’ll forgive you for your stream hacking if you shared it with him. 3. Due to CA shenanigans on being the fun police, I think I’m going to get my FFL03 just so I can buy ammo on my own for my beloved 16Ga Savage 775A and other guns I own. Bonus feature is it’ll let me go to another state (like home to TX) and bring back C&R guns legally, again getting around how blasted expensive guns are here and no one wanting to ship in.

2019-06-06 01:39:36 +0000 UTCI still enjoy your content and hope to eventually see other periods covered. I would think Mae would jump at another anti tank rifle or two.

2019-06-06 01:13:34 +0000 UTCCongratulations on making it to 100 primer episodes, yours was the first content provider on Patreon that I ever subscribed to because it's refreshing to see intellectual content amongst all the "models". Keep up the good work!
2019-06-06 01:06:17 +0000 UTCConsidering how many countries were involved. With each one using weapons from where ever they could be found. I'm surprised it's just at 100.
