Well, he's definitely going to have to cover the Madsen Light Machine Gun. It's the first LMG for most of the Central Powers and the Empire of Russia.

P.S.: was just about to make a big buy of some vintage rifles from Samco Global a few years ago, literally weeks before they went bust, so I dodged *that* bullet, but if I'd just managed to scrape together the funds a few weeks sooner, I wouldn't be looking at the inflated price$ Classic Firearms has been $elling of Samco's old $tock for & kicking myself all the while... ::-\

@ Dunxy: where's "here," btw? My CZ24 was still relatively cheap *years* after the inexpensive Swedes had all gone away [I'm trapped behind the Granola Curtain, in Low Cal So.Cal. where the $ is plastic & the people are too!]

Woot! Gr8 news, I can hardly wait! When you get to the Swiss, you'll be able to work in that great "Shoot twice & go home" line said by the Swiss sergeant to Kaiser Wilhelm! ;-D

One day we will have the time for neutrals! Thankfully, Swiss excluded, most bought a version of a rifle we are covering.

Unlikely Othais' will be gracing us with the low-down on the Swedes, since, as a neutral power, they weren't actually a participant in WW1 [or 2], so their arms get ignored in a closely-focused project like this one. But the m96 is truly great, & I only wish I'd had a chance at an m38 before they all got scooped up! :-\

Much love for the 6.5! Got a couple of Swede's myself,a 1905 m96 and a '42 m38, very accurate and underated (at least locally, could barely buy a flogged k98 for cost of both my Swedes combined here, the short rifle is very tidy all original ) compared to pretty well all other Millitary rifles, i guess due to very little use in conflict.
I hope one day you guys do an episode/s on the Swede's.
Safe and happy christmas and new year to all.
