For the podcast: what kinds of miniatures do you find the most rewarding to paint: tanks, infantry etc

I've just gotten into the hobby recently and started collecting Ultramarines. When I browsed youtube for painting ideas, I found your Ultramarine army showcase video of the figures painted by Fletch. I really loved the colour scheme and just overall quality, and would love if there were tutorials to learn how to paint my figures like that.

Any advice on dealing with paint (even new) that's lumpy and like cottage cheese? Not sure what causes it, but Pallid Wych Flesh and Screaming Skull (two pots of each) seem prone to it.

Hi guys, I’d like to see how to paint the main colour on a redemptor with an airbrush, primarily a guide on how to place highlights and shadows.

30k space wolves armour. Naughty

Painting a variety of skin tones and maybe painting some genstealer clutist

I’d like to see the steps you guys take to build and paint your models with overlapping parts like capes and backpacks. Do you just assemble and paint or do you get everything you can assembled paint then finish assembling the model?

Sisters of Battle Games Workshop colour scheme (black / white)

Would absolutely love to see some Salamanders stuff, and maybe some conversion / kitbash work you guys think is particularly effective, I second the more basic tutorials, or some kind of progressive system (base coating to dry brushing to edge highlights to wet blends, or something along those lines) I'm relatively new to painting and I'm certainly not going to be commissioned any time soon, but any short cuts that can somewhat masque my lower skill level until I can perform the more complex techniques

Maybe it would be interesting to have a couple of more concept tutorial, to cover various (basic) aspects such as: how to choose a color scheme, how/where/what to highlight, where to get inspiration from...the very basic you have to go though before even putting some paint on the model. Also, maybe it'd be interesting to have a couple tutorials which are not so much about how to improve quality of painting, but improve speed, while retaining a certain quality? Might be interesting for those who have little time to put in the hobby, yet want to have fully painted armies

I think it’s always useful to have plenty of techniques and recipes shared for varying skin/flesh tones and metallic finishes. I’d personally like to see how to paint the ghostly alien carapace of a Guardian Drone/Spindle Drone from Blackstone Fortress, the Menhirs that accompany the Necron Silent King, the technical metallic shading as seen on the ‘Evay Metal Illuminor Szeras figure, and flesh with faded tattoos for Goliath gangers.

One for the podcast, I'm interested in your advice on restoring miniatures where the paint has faded. I was thinking of glazing the effected panels to improve the colour depth?
