Path of the Titan April 2023 Update + more to come
Added 2023-04-20 18:19:43 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Sorry it's been a minute. Life has been difficult as of late with some pretty major shake ups for me. Haven't really been able to get into writing or updating the brews for awhile, but I think I am to a point where things will start flowing steadily again.
To start things off again, I have an update for the Path of the Titan Barbarian subclass! Equally inspired by Kong and the titans of Attack on Titan, this approach to the subclass is designed to hit a bit more solidly. The damage is high, the battlefield control is single target (but quite good), and the strength is off the charts.
This is pretty big update with a lot of rebalancing. You'll notice some new things, some things have moved around, and some things are gone and replaced.
I think this approach is more balanced than the previous and hopefully more fun with plenty of roleplay opportunities!
Let me know what you think. Continuing these brews can be difficult at times for me, and feedback would help a lot.

I do recognize this is quite powerful right now, at least damage wise later on. Just remember that damage numbers are often the hardest thing to balance. You gotta make sure people are doing enough damage to be happy and also not enough to steam roll encounters.

2023-04-20 18:34:35 +0000 UTCBONUS!: An example very strong build. Take all 14 levels of this subclass. Take 2 levels of Monk and 2 levels of fighter. Use Wrath of the Titan to get Huge, make unarmed strike deal 5d6. Make your two base attacks, two flurry of blows attacks, and two action surge attacks for 6 attacks total. Assuming you have 20 Strength and all attacks hit average damage, you will do 135 damage that turn without crits. Go Champion fighter for an extended crit range if you want it to fish for even spicier damage. Average damage per turn without action surge if all attacks hit is 90, so have fun!
