They have a large and active discord and the work is extremely faithful to the show with some really good additional homebrew in there. It's pretty freaking rad!
I am actually working on an alternate timeline campaign using this material. Biggest changes are, in order of timeline:
- Jiraiya hears about Yahiko's death, travels to the land of rain, and convinces Nagato (Pain) and Konan to travel with him rather than take Obito up on his Akatsuki plans.
- Kushina Uzumaki survives the nine tails extraction. Lord Third arrives on the scene before she can put up the barrier with Jiraiya since he was in the village at the time and help to hold off and keep the nine tails there while Minato re-seals it into Kushina to save her life. Minato still dies from using the reaper death seal.
- Following the nine-tails attack and the presence of Kushina and others in the village, Orochimaru decides to cover his tracks with the help of Danzo. Over the course of the next 4 years, Orochimaru and Danzo work to get Orochimaru into the position of Hokage and they succeed. Orochimaru is the Hokage at the start of the campaign (5 years after nine tails attack).

I like these shoutouts to other cool fan-works, yes! And neat scenario ; I'll look and see if jinchuuriki are playable, 'cause if they are I'd love to play jinchuuriki or pseudo-jinchuuriki of the two-tails.
