Worldspire Races and Lineages Playtest Mark 4 Update| Dream Gnomes and Temporal Genasi
Added 2021-11-11 06:20:45 +0000 UTCHey everyone, sorry for missing Saturday/Sunday this week after saying I would try to get it done. Had some things come up, so the release for Sunday wasn't feasible.
Thankfully, I had the time to finish up what would have been Sundays post and todays post. Sunday was meant to be the introduction of a new subrace in the Worldspire Journal, the Dream Gnomes . They are based on Baku from East Asian mythology.
This Wednesday's post is the Temporal Genasi. It is a revival of an older brew that I have been debating over including due to reasons with one of my player's character. but I figured out there is some really cool stuff I can include with it for him. Also, time genasi just sounds rad, right?
We've also got some mechanical changes for the other player character options.
- The Ankhali have been reduced to only one skill proficiency from Ancestral Legacy feature. Unrestricted flight, even if you are a beacon of light when doing it, is a lot on top of orc relentless endurance+breath weapon combo feature already.
- Changed spellcasting stuff for all spellcasting races to be more in line with the recent material from Wizards.
- Added the aforementioned Dream Gnomes and Temporal Genasi to the document.
- Added a creature type note expanding creature type for existing races within the setting, such as dragonborn and goliaths.
