New Race and Lineage Ideas: The Beastblood, Bloodborn, and the Dragonfly race known as the Zodan!
Added 2021-09-16 03:50:56 +0000 UTCSorry for the absence everyone. I had a bit of a cold and had some circumstances that made it hard for me to write. So, to compensate, here are three race and lineage (the new dnd 5e thing they've been doing)! One for each update I have missed thus far.
There will be two posts on Saturday as well! Look forward to this month's request poll!
But yeah, I decided to try my hand at the new lineages idea. I think they are pretty neat overall and provide some great flavor for players. I do have my gripes with them, so if you want to hear those let me know hahaha!

Edit: Had to change a wording on the Bloodborn bloody weapon feature where I put "simple martial" instead of simple melee. My bad guys.

For reference, I used the aarakocra as the base for the Zodan because dragonflies are known for their flight primarily. I do want to do something with their predictive hunting abilities though, so this will likely not be the last version of the race. I am thinking of cutting the flight down to 30 feet to make room for another feature. Any thoughts?
