Huitzil Mark 1| Hummingbird Race Idea for the Fan Request.
Added 2021-09-02 04:08:19 +0000 UTCI know it's a couple minutes late for today, but it is done! Unlike the mecha artificer, this one seemed to flow really easily. The mechanics definitely still need some work, but they seem fun and flavorful!
I based this on the Aztec and Hopi ideas about the Hummingbird! The Hopi have a story about them bringing rain and the aztec related them to a war god, hence the nat weapon.
I also took the opportunity to make a fey race. The humming flight feature is derived from that side of their design. I figured a reference to the sounds they make while in flight would be a good place for a charm effect. I almost went with hold person, but I figured charm person was more in line powerlevel wise.
