Finalisation of New Rewards Structure
Added 2018-10-10 21:58:37 +0000 UTCUpon reflection I realise that the previous concept of a wordbank excludes certain tiers of patrons, and that I wasn't comfortable removing them from the opportunity of a reward for their patronage. Every dollar helps me immensely; likewise, my $1 and $5 should feel valued too!
Instead of a wordbank, I'm borrowing a page from my friend Glaz and implementing a piggybank system.
Your contributions to my patron can be redeemed for a discount on commissions, at a 1:1 rate. As an example. If you're contributing $5 per month and you have been a patron for two months, then you have $10 worth of redeemable credit. At my present rate of $15 (which may be subject to change over the next month, depending on economic circumstances), that means you redeem the $10 credit and pay only $5 up front for a 1,000 word commission.
Make sense?
To be concise: Your total contribution to my Patreon is kept track of by me. You can then use the credit accrued as a discount, or as a method of fully paying for a piece of writing from me as a commission.
All Patreons get priority when it comes to queues, along with first dibs at commission slots!
However! Some elements of this process will be up to my discretion, with a soft cap of 4,000 words being the total purchasable via Patron credit at this point. As much as I love you all for helping me get this far, there's a limit to what I can do in terms of cost/effect.
If you have any questions, please let me know! Thank you!
P.S - I'll be tallying up peoples contributions so far, as this can be reclaimed retroactively from this point onward. Thank you.
