I just wanted to say that the colorized version of 227 on your site looks amazing. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next in the story, and as these scenes get colorized too.

"Walker" is clearly trying to manipulate Alex... by choosing such an 'Appealing Feminine Form' to interact with him... not the Loroi.. with Alex ~ Specifically!! It's reading his reactions to the lovely Loroi females around him and adapting to effect a similar reaction out of him! It Smiles at him... something few of the Loroi outside of Beryl, Tallon, and perhaps Tempo have picked up on the human mannerism ques of attraction and appeal. Alex ~ "Walker... Are you Trying to Seduce Me"?!? Walker ~ "Would You like me to Seduce You Alex"? Snort!!

Some of them may have suspicions as to its true nature (the Historian-like avatar is not exactly subtle), but it's currently keeping them alive, so I don't think any of them are eager to look this particular gift horse in the mouth, at least at this moment.

I'm certain they will understand their missile barrage got hacked and redirected... but what will boil their brains in their carapace is How the Star did It do that hack so fast and completely?!?!? As they will NOT be able to repeat the hack's speed and totality! LOLS! Hahaha! They'll be banging their craniums against the bulkheads for months trying to figure it out! 2025-09-02 17:29:21 +0000 UTCThe plasma weapons have recharge times, so if used against the torpedoes some of the weapons would not be ready to fire at their main target, the cruiser in front of them. (KTLh-3827 does have dedicated point defense weapons that are faster firing, but Alex doesn't know that and it'd be an unnecessary complication.)
