2025-09-30 16:47:39 +0000 UTCHardtroops are "full body replacement" cyborgs; it still has its brain, some of the internal organs and endocrine system, and blood in a closed loop to keep the wet systems running and transport nutrients to them. But vessels holding the organs don't have to be in their original locations within the body; rather, they are usually somewhere in the best-protected part of the trunk. In this case the decapitation severed access to a lot of its sensory capability, but it didn't hit anything that could bleed; this thing's brain isn't in it's head.

Those things could probably be made to also function as robots to some extent even thou it is doubtfull that they actually do that in this comic.
